Earth Science

DO NOT START THIS PAGE UNTIL I HAVE CHECKED THAT YOU ARE COMPLETELY DONE WITH PHYSICAL SCIENCE!!!!

Welcome to EARTH SCIENCE.
If you haven't already - Make the next blank page into a New Chapter page with EARTH Science.
something like this page.  Make it your own!

Please have the Day, Title, Date on EACH page of your NB!!
If you don't understand something, see me first!!!

Day 1 Plate Tectonics

  1. Watch this video about the Earth's Crust.
  2. Find the Bill Nye Earth's Crust worksheet and complete it.  Glue it into your NB.  Remember: Day, Title, Date on EACH page of your NB
  3. Find your Plate Tectonics Project and look through it, if you have questions, please come see me.  Keep it in your Science NB folder, you will work on it everyday.
  4. Find the OUTLINE worksheet and fill it out.  Take your time and write good, complete sentences.
Day 2 Plate Tectonics
  1. Find the plate tectonics cycle worksheet - follow the directions and glue it in your NB.
  2. Find the 2 Research Handouts - look around the web for information to fill out the worksheet.  Draw an illustration and glue it into your NB.
Day 3 Plate Tectonics
  1. Find the Plate Tectonics foldables, glue them into your NB and write the definitions under each flap.
  2. After you have finished the foldables in #1, then write your BIO poem.  Title it with the name of the landform you chose.  You will need to do some research on some of the items, if you want to make your notes on a separate paper and then just add your FINAL poem to your NB when you are done, keep your notes and put into your front folder.
