Day 1 Intro Geography

1. Watch this video on maps and geography -(There is no sound. You may need to pause to make sure you can read everything.)
2. Now play this video about latitude and longitude. (remember “lati”tude line are flat)
3. Play this geography game..
4. Play find the treasure.
5. Find the Continents and Oceans worksheet in your NB. Complete and glue it in NB.
6. Find the 8 regions worksheet in your NB. Complete and glue it in NB.

Day 2 World Maps

1. Play this geography game.
2. Play that same game again on a higher level, until you get to expert. You must complete the expert level perfectly before moving on.
3. Take this quiz to see what you already know.
4. Play this game.

Day 3 Latitude and Longitude

1. Watch this video
2. Read about different types of maps. For each one, click on the map example. Sometimes you will have to scroll down to see the right map example.
3. Print and complete Page 1 only, Find the CITY and STATE, then glue into your NB.
4. Go on an adventure here with lots of maps.

Day 4  Make your own map

1. Make sure you have completed everything from Days 1 to 3 before continuing.
2. Identify the parts of this map.
3. You may need to refer to this map of Africa, but do not print it.  You can also look up other maps if you need to, on Google.
4. Find your Map of Africa in your NB.  Answer ALL the questions and glue it in your NB.
5. Find your Interpreting a physical map in your NB.  Fill it out and glue it in your NB.
6. Find your What career would need map skills worksheet in your NB.  Fill it out and glue it in your NB.
