Day 1

1. Read the math vocabulary on page 3, then do the crossword puzzle on the bottom of the page.
2. Read page 1 and the new terms. Look them over then do the crossword puzzle.
3. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
4. Go to this website and play Jeopardy.

Day 2

1. Go to this link and click on page 2 and click on play on the Finding Factors video box.
2. Play Fruit Shoot with numbers up to 99.
3. Try the prime factorization exercise.
4. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
5. Watch this video 6.1.5. Print and complete the worksheet. 

Day 3

1. Go to this link and play the snowball fight game.
2. Practice LCM.
3. Watch this video 6.1.6.  Print and complete the worksheet.
4. Play this game and defeat the roboids.

Day 4

1. Practice subtracting fractions.
2. Practice adding mixed fractions.
3. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
4. If you want more help, here are two videos video 1 — fun with fractions and video 2 – mixed numbers
5. Watch this video 6.1.7.  Print and complete the worksheet.

Day 5

1. Go to this video site and choose Fractions – Multiply and Divide from the first menu column.
2. Go to this website if you need more review with dividing fractions.
3. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
4. Go to this site if you need more review with multiplying fractions.
5. Now practice multiplying fractions.
6. Practice dividing fractions. Watch this video on a trick to multiply fractions.
7. Play Fraction Basketball.
8. Play this game Or Jeopardy here.

Day 6

1. Adding and subtracting fractions.
2. Multiplying fractions by fractions.
3. Multiplying fractions by whole numbers.
4. Dividing fractions.
5. Watch this video.
6. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
7. Watch this video 6.1.8.  Print and complete the worksheet.
8. Play this interactive quiz.

Day 7

1. Go to this site this site click on page 14, and do the match up activity.
2. Practice converting fractions to decimals. (You can use a calculator.)
3. Practice converting decimals to fractions.
4. Play this game.  When multiplying by 10, you are just moving the decimal over and/or adding zeros.
5. Play this game.  Remember to mentally change the decimals to tenths. (1/5 = 2/10)
6. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.

Day 8

1. Watch this video 6.2.3.  Print and complete the worksheet.
2. Practice converting decimals to percents.
3. Practice converting percents to decimals.
4. Play this Space game.  Then play this Fruit Shoot game.
5. Play Jeopardy, if you want more practice.
6. Turn your NB into the basket when you have completed everything for today.

Day 9

1. Copy this into the next open page of your NB (date it)
2. Watch this video or this video 6.2.1.
3. Go to this site and finish 10 correct before quitting.
4. Play Decimal Basketball.
5. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
6. Look in your math folder for the percentage puzzle.
7. Turn your NB into the basket when you have completed everything for today.

Days 10 Percents and Decimals Catchup day

1. Finish your percentage puzzle.
2. Glue this foldable into your NB.  The printed sheet is in your NB pocket. (date it)
3. Watch this video.  Converting fractions.
4. Practice converting fractions to decimals. (You can use a calculator.)
5. Watch this video. Then this video. Dividing Decimals
6. Go to this site click on page 14, and do the match up activity.
7. Watch this video song.
8. Practice converting decimals to fractions. Remember to put the number over 10 or 100.  Look at your foldable from #2.
9. Copy the steps from this page into the next blank page in your NB. (date it)
10. Play this game.  When multiplying by 10, you are just moving the decimal over and/or adding zeros.  There are more games if you scroll down.

Day 11 Finding Percent

1. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
2. Watch this video song.
3. Watch this video about percents. Then go here.  Get 10 correct before quitting.
4. IF you still don't understand then go to this video 6.2.4 (Finding the percent).  Print and complete the worksheet and glue it into your NB.
5. Copy this page into the next page of your NB (date it).
6. Watch this video about percents of a whole number.
7. Find the color by number sheet in your NB.  After you complete it, glue it into your NB and date it.
8. Go to this link and play the snowball fight game.
9. Practice LCM.
10. Use the correct percentage.
11. Finish the Gold Puzzle and glue it into your NB.
12. Turn your NB into the basket when have completed everything for today.

4. Play this game. Then this game.
5. Go to this page (log in), then do this page and this page.  Get 5 right on each.
6. Find the golden puzzle #13 in your NB and complete it.

Day 14 - Rate and Proportion

1. Make sure everything in Day 13 is complete before moving on.
2. Find the blue Rate/Ratio/Proportion worksheet, glue it into your NB.
3. Watch this video 6.2.6 (Rates).  Print and complete the worksheet.
4. Go to this site.  Sign in and follow the video instructions.
5. Watch this video on proportions and fairness.
6. Play this game about rates.
7. Go to this site and do all 5 pages.
8. Find the golden puzzle #14 in your NB and complete it.

Great Job!!!  When you are done with all of Day 14 tasks - go to the next 2 weeks of Math.
